Plato: The Best and the Worst
Today I am going to answer some questions about Plato. Plato was a Greek philosopher who had many big opinions, and I hope these questions do him justice.
1) How did Plato define The Forms?
Plato defined the forms as the ideal versions of the things and concepts we see around us in the world. They were said to have served as the instructions to our own world.
2) Who are the three groups in Plato’s ideal society?
Plato sought after a Eutopia, whch is a governement form where justice is the whole goal, and his three groups of society were as follows: Producers, the Military, and the Rulers.
3) What were Plato’s thoughts on women?
Plato thought that women were equally able to rule in his model city but he was inconsistent with them and he saw them the same as he saw children. He was also said to believe that the womb of a woman was a live animal that would wander in her body and cause her illness.
4) What was the Noble Lie that Plato proposed?
In order to get everyone to believe in him and to go along with his form of government , he had to create what is known as the Noble Lie, which is the theory that all people are born with gold and silver, or brass and iron in their souls.
