A Poem By Me

We need to stay at home right now,
because a virus is on the prowl.
We do not know how to stop the thing,
but we can do part of the preventing.
If we stay at home for a few weeks,
we can get back to our normal feats.
It may be really hard right now on this very day,
but the sun will shine again, so look for the rays.
I miss my friends and family and so does everyone else,
and if we stay at home, this virus will melt.
We have one job to complete for now,
and, no, you don't have to leave your house.
So please stay at home today,
so I can go back to school some day.
