UUUUUURRRRR or OOOOORRRRR

Today in class we went over the powerpoint and we listened to the Mesopotamia song. I thought it was good but the class wasnt impressed. We also discussed good ways to study for our test and we studied a bit as class. We spent the rest of the class anticipating whether or not the fire alarm was gonna go off and we watched a video on the difference between football and baseball. Im not really sure why we did that but it was very entertaining. Mr. Schick then proceeded to tell us about how he tried to explain to the other class why Ur is pronounced as 'or' and not 'ur'. Even I am still confused on that one and I don't think I will ever understand. Even Mr. Schick thought he was dreaming when he told us that. After all of this, he showed us John Carrolls youtube videos and we watched some of those while still waiting for the fire alarm. Thats about it for today. Im off to study Mesopotamia and the EUphrates river.
