Guns, Germs, Steel, and Jesus Lizards

Today in class we finished the video we were watching and we got the answer to Yali's question. The reason behind the diversity of nations is 'geography' and pure luck. Its an answer many people arent happy with and many people have actually contradicted what Jared has to say. He has recieved hate for his hard work and I dont think thats right. I dont necessarily agree with him, but he put in the work to answer a question everyone wanted to know about, and he got hate for it when he was the only one who actually put in the work to try and asnwer it for THEM. It just makes me mad because he dedicated his entire life to this question because he wanted to help Yali understand and everyone is mad. Im not saying they have to agree but they should respect him, especially since he actually put in the work to do something about it. Thats about it for today. Also just to entertain you, we saw a horse run wild today in english. See you at the Pow Wow.
