How in the World do you Reverse a River?
Today in class we talked about how geographers describe where things are. We learned and discussed mostly about 'Site'. We talked about the location of different places and their surroundings. We also learned as a fun fact that the Chicago river was reversed in 1900 and that Manhattan was partially manmade from trash and sunken ships. It was a very mind blowing fact and I'm glad I learned about it. We also learned that Griffin shouldn't talk about crabs anymore. Even though the whole class was fun, my favorite part was when some of the class questioned if Mr. Schick was able to take care of babies (he is very capable). I love this class and I hope we continue to have fun.
